How I Work with the Moon (And Why It’s Everything)

There’s something I don’t talk about enough but honestly, it’s the very foundation of how I live and run my business: the moon.
Me and the moon? We’re good friends. We check in every month, and she teaches me how to move through life and work with natural flow instead of fighting the current.
When the moon is waxing — growing fuller and brighter — I get that rush of excitement. I start dreaming, creating, planting new ideas and projects. It’s like she lights a fire under me to grow and expand.
When the moon is waning — shrinking back toward darkness — I slow down. I finish what I started, close open loops, and prepare to rest. It’s a time to clear space, reflect, and recharge before the next cycle.
Then there’s Rosh Chodesh, the new moon celebration in Judaism. It’s a sacred, feminine holiday full of magic and intention. I use Rosh Chodesh as a personal ritual — a time to pray for the month ahead, to call in my goals and visions, and to map out the work and life I want to grow.
This monthly rhythm grounds me. It reminds me that life is cyclical, not linear — that there’s a natural ebb and flow to creativity, productivity, rest, and reflection.
So, how do you connect with the moon? Do you feel her pull in your work and life? I’d love to hear.
Here’s to moving with the moon, not against her.
🌙✨
