Yea yea deal with it I’m a hippy like that.
So it all started when my sister / fellow medicine maidel was like let’s go to ecstatic. An hour away. Also she likes going an hour late. Cuz. Ooh just remembered I have to pay her back. Anyways I actually said yea. When I’m in full on farmer mode it’s hard to get me off the land tbh. Like if I’m here I’m here. But something’s in the air. Maybe pollen, maybe spring but I just went along with it. So off to ecstatic we go armed with a big bottle of my best cacao, lots of hock, and plenty to release through dance. ( you know we store stuff in our bodies and dancing helps us let it go?) Also Rabbi NACHMAN loves to talk about how dancing helps us. It moves the energy. So we get there late. Go right in and start flowing. Mind you this space is alchahol and drug free. Pure energy and magical beats. The alchemist is the dj. And boy was she an alchemist today. ( check dj yonder) The journey went flying inwards. Like the deepest ceremony ever. Noticing how closed and uninterested in connection I was when I came in and by the time it ended I was actually connecting to those around me. The softness. The process and healing. Psychedelic. Pure magic. Of course the killer cacao I made for the drive helped the heart opening too. The gorgeous processes of noticing so many parts of myself that have been coming up and calling for attention. What my inner child is saying. What I need from myself. What’s the lesson and gift of these precious uncomfortability. Yum. Noticing the flow. Allowing the flow in. Noticing my visions and dreams. Remembering how to make space for them to come with ease and grace. Flowering into a higher frequency. All the the best of the music. Allowing it to move my arms and legs. Move my hips and shoulders. At ecstatic dance you can roll on the floor, you can skip around the room, you can sit quietly and meditate it’s all welcome. It’s a beautiful international movement of holding sacred space for movement and healing, go find one near you.
