The season, the changes and all in between on my journey through medicine of the earth.

It's been a wild spring season, oscillating between breathtaking blooms on the earth and booms in the sky. It's been a test of the human conditioning inside me, on my resilience and willingness to show up and see light and dark. As if walking in a magical paradise of life but coming to the edges of deep jagged cliffs that fall into darkness. How our beautiful earth is plunged into chaos and back into silence—the silence seems to scream its reverberations for a while.

Within all this, I have spent the winter and beginning of spring moving between the Americas and Israel as usual, but this time unplanned. What started as a quick last-minute trip to celebrate one of my soul sister's marriage celebration in Panama turned into a long journey to get home. As I made my way to Panama, I naturally stopped in Ecuador, which has been a second home (and sometimes a first) to me in the past 5 years. It was a beautiful and abundant mindset-opening way. I came upon some moments on these travels where I felt stuck and watched myself transform from the cute, raggedy budget backpacker I once was to a grown woman caring for her needs in a comfortable and loving way. In moments where I once would have panicked and moved into crisis, I calmly and gracefully used my resources to smooth over any bumps in the way. It was beautiful to witness the changes and growth within me.

I ended up traveling to the USA to be of service to my dear Grandmother and Great Aunt, which was a whole other lesson in itself. What was supposed to be four weeks turned into almost 3 months due to difficulties getting home during the war. My flight home was the night the war started (the Iranian part of it). Somehow I felt every boom all the way in the USA. I felt the winter greens and flowers growing, and most of all, I felt a longing to return home deeper than I've ever felt in my life.

And so I returned home to gather the last of the foraged herbs of the season. I wandered my familiar hills looking for the precious plants that I work with and share all year round. I found myself connecting to mullein in a big way this year and scouted the mountains around me for them, finding only 4 plants. The funniest part of that was in the summer solstice ceremony I was invited to; I sat next to a beautiful sister. In the morning, as we all lounged around, she pulled out a big bag of mullein, and I immediately got excited. Lo and behold, her garden is full of them all year round, and I am invited to come harvest to my heart's delight.

Our yearly Lavender harvest on the farm with my special freinds happened this year in a roundabout way too. With it a lesson on flexibility. We had a big bus of over twenty freinds coming from the local college for people with special needs my farm is in collaboration with. The bus got stuck on the way unfortunaly but we saved the sitaution by sitting in a cacalyptus grove and I ran to the farm and quickly harvested as much lavender as i could. we made beautiful bouquets for Shavuot- which by the way is a harvest holiday too.

Coming home my days were filled with holidays, festivals, weddings, and farmers markets.

The land hugged me hello as well as the community I have cultivated in my life for so many years. It is such a blessing to be home. To feel at home. To have a home.

New collaborations, new energy and even some new friends are entering while the unknown touches me in a curious way.

And then the pièce de résistance: a soul brother showing up and deciding to support the creation of a sweat lodge on the farm. A whole new prayer portal opening up for us all.

We've sat and sweat multiple times already, each time with a whole new energy and prayer.

An old ancestral way from the land I was born in is being brought to the ancestral home of my people, my tribe—turning us into a new creation. Bringing the old in a new way—and all the sacred healing traditions of the world together. With that, a vision is being born that you can be a part of—women's sweat lodges for Rosh Chodesh. Lighting the fire on the ancient mountain my land is on—Har Sirin—a mountain our people used to light fires on to send the message of the new moon to the people living on the next mountain. To gather as the women of our tribe once did on this holy day and to heal together.
